Good News Spotlight: St Stephen’s Sneinton Awarded Places of Worship Renewal Grant
We’re pleased to share that St Stephen’s Church in Sneinton has been awarded £109,633 through the Places of Worship Renewal Fund (PWRF) to address structural, repair, and conservation priorities.
Announced in January 2026, the fund supports essential repairs to England’s treasured places of worship, with a focus on those most in need. It is funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and delivered by Historic England.
The Revd Lynda Blakeley, Priest-in-Charge, shared:
“We are so grateful to God for His provision through a grant to support urgent and important work needed in our wonderful church building. This church holds many significant historic features as well as being a treasured place of worship and mission. There is much more money to source but we continue to trust in our generous God to make a way for His church in Sneinton.”
